Jennifer M. Kurtz, an associate in the firm's Litigation practice group, is involved in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions and appeals.  Ms. Kurtz has experience in federal court practice, commercial and contract disputes, employment and various business-related matters, as well as matrimonial and criminal matters.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Kurtz was an associate with the New York City law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she was a member of the Business and Securities Litigation Practice group, and also an associate at the law firm of Morrison Cohen LLP, where she practiced in the commercial litigation department.

Ms. Kurtz is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association.

Ms. Kurtz is a graduate the State University of New York at Albany (B.A. magna cum laude, 1999) and the Hofstra University School of Law (J.D. with distinction, 2002), where she was Notes and Comments Editor of the Hofstra Law Review.
